The Ultra Wideband Center of Excellence at Georgia Tech (UWBTech) has recently completed a demonstration-test of a UWB array antenna design which is a candidate aperture as a high power radiator. The demonstration showed design-measurement agreement over the designed frequency ranges (2-5 and 9.2-9.5 GHz). The design will be frequency-dimensionally scaled to be a candidate for a larger low frequency array (similar to the one pictured on the right) in the 2013-2014 time frame. Performance highlights of the current antenna are shown on the left.
